Dawn’s Joint Venture with Robertson wins them a place on the NHS Framework

Dawn Construction, together with Robertson Construction – as part of the RD Health consortium - are delighted to announce that they have been selected to join the Health Facilities Scotland Framework for providing new NHS facilities across Scotland.

RD Health is a consortium formed exclusively to work in partnership with the NHS in Scotland as part of its Construction Integrated Supply Chain Framework Agreement. RD Health, via Robertson Group and Dawn Construction, has extensive links with the NHS in Scotland and is able to demonstrate considerable expertise in the design, construction and maintenance of both acute and primary care NHS developments throughout the Scottish healthcare estate.

The comprehensive range of private sector skills available within RD Health will work in partnership with NHS Boards and co-located stakeholders to deliver a wide range of health and social care needs in Scotland. Projects will be delivered using an extensive regional office network and will continue to focus on key areas such best value and benchmarking; high quality sustainable design solutions; partnership working; full life cost in use principles; transparent and open working arrangements; and a culture of continuous improvement.

The Robertson Dawn bid was one of five who successfully won a place on the framework, which promises £150m of work per year, split between 5 contractors, for a period of 4-6 years.

Dawn’s recent healthcare experience includes the new Ayrshire Maternity Unit at Crosshouse Hospital, the new Resource Centre in Coatbridge and a new hospital in Edinburgh for Spire Healthcare. Both Dawn and Robertson operate across Scotland and together will provide a unique and local approach to delivering healthcare projects for NHS Scotland.
