Alan is has been working in Property Development since the 1970s and has accumulated vast experience in the successful delivery of a wide range of property developments.  Alan is also the Chairman and controlling shareholder of Dawn Group and, as one of the founding Directors of the Dawn Group in 1972, he has overseen a period of sustained growth as Dawn has been transformed into one of Scotland’s most successful privately owned construction and property Groups with a turnover well in excess of £100m. 

Russell spent the first 6 years of his career in General Practice agency with Colliers CRE where he reached Associate Director level before moving to CALA Homes as Land Manager in 1995. Russell is dual qualified in surveying and town planning (BSc, MRICS, MSC). He joined Dawn Developments in 1999 and became Director in 2002. Since then he has completed a succession of large developments involving retail, leisure, office and industrial property. Having spent part of his career in the residential sector and part in commercial, Russell has a unique range of experience. 

Following professional qualification whilst working with Grampian Regional Council Steve moved to McDonalds Restaurants Ltd to implement their restaurant development expansion program throughout Scotland.  In 2002 he joined another Macdonald (Alan!) at Dawn Developments where he has completed a number of retail and leisure developments.  Steve has an in-depth understanding of the requirements to achieve effective working relationships with Councils, retailer occupiers and a wide network of professionals.  Steve holds a BSc in Land Economics and is a Member of the RICS.

Having started his career in construction Paul has now been with Dawn for over 10 years. He has been involved in a wide variety of residential and commercial development projects ranging in size from small industrial units to large scale city centre redevelopments. Paul currently acts as Construction Director responsible for project management, cost control and project delivery for all of Dawn Developments interests. Having obtained an Honours degree for Glasgow University in Civil Engineering he then supplemented this with a degree in Law from Strathclyde University.
